Annotation

The course is intended for those interested from among the general public who know the basics of Latin grammar - especially the tense of regular verbs in the present active, relative and demonstrative pronouns, declension of nouns 1.-3. declension and conjugation of the accusative case with the infinitive. The course is based on reading the textbook Lingua latina per se illustrata (Familia Romana) in the range of approximately 12-16 chapters of the first volume. In this way, students will become familiar with the 4th and 5th declensions, with adjectives of the 3rd declension, with gradation, with the active present participle and with deponent verbs. The reading with explanations of the grammar used is complemented by Latin quotations and songs.
