Annotation

The compensatory English language course is a one-semester course divided into 13 blocks, which correspond to the 13 weeks of the semester. It is designed for students with special educational needs who need to supplement or clarify their knowledge of grammar or vocabulary from lower A2 levels. The course is loosely based on the English A1 E-Learning course and discusses in greater depth or repeats the grammatical phenomena covered, practising and/or extending them more, and introducing new grammatical phenomena. Vocabulary is also expanded and English is used more in assignments and communication with students. However, Czech is still used in the course.
